Art fans in Switzerland have a new excuse to visit the Baur au Lac next month: Zurich's first "Art Inside" will preview inside the city's lakeside hotel on October 7.
"Art Inside" will be the 12th art exhibition at the Swiss hotel hosted by Gigi Kracht, wife of Andrea Kracht, the Baur au Lac's sixth-generation owner. Unlike Kracht's previous "Art in the Park" exhibitions, all of which were held in the hotel's private park and dedicated to legendary sculptors, "Art Inside" will take place within the hotel and will showcase the paintings and photography of 11 female artists.
The 11 established and up-and-coming artists are: Asli Ōzok, Ekin Onat, Pemra Aksoy, Tülin Onat (Turkey), Catherine Starkman, Ewa Bathelier (France), Joanna Borkowska (Poland), Sara Lucas (Italy), Laura Nylott Manning, Sarah Ashley Longshore, and Tlisza Jaurique (U.S).
