Six Senses Zighy Bay Offers Overnight Musandam Voyages

Six Senses Zighy Bay is offering one- and two-night voyages on the recently refurbished Dhahab so guests can enjoy a sea-hotel adventure. Guests can discover the coastline and fjords of the Musandam aboard Dhahab, a traditional, hand-crafted dhow and set sail to the lesser-known side of Oman. The 90-foot vessel offers three bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. It can accommodate up to six people and is ideal for families or groups of friends.

Among the myriad experiences, guests can explore quaint fishing villages and watch the sunset over the Hajar Mountains. The experience also includes a menu crafted by a private chef. Meals can also be customized to suit individual preferences or dietary requirements. Snacks are also available, alongside breakfast, lunch and dinner.

"Guests who prefer above-water activities can tour the fjords in kayaks (both single and twin), snorkel, hand-line fish or perfect their tubing skills,” says General Manager Andrew Spearman. “A selection of spa treatments by seasoned Six Senses Spa therapists, as well as fitness and morning yoga classes, can also be arranged onboard the Dhahab. Guests can even delve into local culinary traditions with a cooking class.”

As the voyage glides along the waters of Haffa, Sanna’t, Lima, Charia and Hamra, guests can enjoy customized diving experiences amid colorful corals and marine life. Inside the Dhahab, guests can play board games and watch movies in the private lounge. The daybeds on the upper deck and the captain’s deck serve as a platform for stargazing at night.

The all-inclusive Dhahab experience is priced per person per night and will offer all meals and soft beverages. A non-inclusive experience with overnight Dhahab rental and crew is also available.

Six Senses Zighy Bay has also launched a “Stay and Cruise” offer. This includes four nights in the resort’s Pool Villa, daily breakfast at Spice Market and one night on the Dhahab cruise. As part of the package, guests will enjoy a private chef onboard with breakfast, lunch, dinner and soft drinks, alongside non-motorized water sports at no extra cost. Guests can also enjoy several activities, from spa treatments to water skiing; these activities are available on request and will incur extra fees.
