“Festival Napa Valley” Announces “Taste of Napa” at The Meritage

Festival Napa Valley” has announced the 2023 edition of “Taste of Napa,” its signature celebration of food, wine and music, July 15 from 11 a.m. to 3p.m.

Held on the central piazza of The Meritage Resort and Spa, “Taste of Napa” spotlights offerings from more than 70 wineries, breweries, restaurants and culinary artisans. The event also includes live music, games, activities, prizes, a Reserve Tasting Salon, and the chance to sample wines from the festival’s newest international wine partner, the Wines of Catalonia. New elements this year include a Play Court, sponsored by Kaiser Permanente Thrive, with life-size fun and games; an “Ask a Wine Writer” opportunity where guests can engage with San Francisco Chronicle journalist Jess Lander; and a chance to win prizes, including international travel, by collecting “Taste of Napa” passport booklet stamps.

The music lineup includes jazz from the Frost School of Music All-Stars led by Shelly Berg and Broadway classics from Christina Maxwell, while the Reserve Tasting Salon offers wine tastings of limited-edition vintages and special treats in a private setting.

“Festival Napa Valley” presents programs for every taste and budget at venues throughout the region. Daytime concerts are free and evening performances are priced at $35, furthering the festival’s mission to make the arts accessible to all. Vintner luncheons and patron dinners are held throughout the festival as part of the Patron Experience.
