AmaWaterways has released new photos and video of one of its new cruises. AmaMagna is heading towards the end of its journey from ocean to river, moving back to the Danube River for finishing touches. The company says AmaMagna is twice the width of traditional river cruise ships. The ship has been taken across various bodies of water.

AmaMagna took its first ocean trip from the Serbian shipyard to Rotterdam where it was supplied with furnishings and several design elements. The ship has just completed its 17-day return ocean voyage into Constanta, Romania, and is cruising the Danube to its winter home in Linz, Austria, where it joins several other AmaWaterways ships getting ready for the 2019 spring sailing season. AmaMagna will receive its final finishing touches before sailing seven-night Danube River cruises between Vilshofen to Budapest starting May 5, 2019.

The AmaMagna includes more personal space, having staterooms measuring between 355 and 710 square feet. In addition, guests can experience two new dining venues – Jimmy’s, family-style dining named for AmaWaterways’ late co-founder Jimmy Murphy, and the Al Fresco restaurant, with retractable ceiling and windows – complimenting the Main Restaurant and the Chef’s Table Restaurant.

A complementary daily excursion program including escorted hiking and biking tours and group fitness classes led by a trained Wellness Host provides guests the chance to personalize their river cruise experience. Additional amenities include a Sun Deck with a heated swimming pool, a Zen Wellness Studiowith massage, hair and nail salon services and a Water Sports Platform. In addition, new Vow Renewal and Golf Concierage Programs are offered to AmaMagna guests.

Last year, our sister publication, Travel Agent Central, covered AmaWaterway's video preview of the upcoming ship showcasing its features.
