Crystal Debuts Four New Spring Getaways

Crystal has unveiled four new 2018 Crystal Getaways—shortened segments of its 20-day “Sands of Time” sailing from Dubai to Rome aboard Crystal Serenity. Offering travelers experiences destinations and sites throughout Israel, Oman, the United Arab Emirates and Italy, the new itineraries also cater to busy travel calendars, ranging from three to 10 days.

The new Crystal Getaways include:

Arabian Gems (April 26; 10 Days) – Includes stops in Dubai (overnight) and Fujairah, United Arab Emirates; Salalah, Oman; and Petra (Aqaba), Jordan. Guests can explore the modern marvels of Dubai, including the world’s tallest skyscraper, Burj Khalifa; visit the Rose City of Petra and the ancient ruins of Sumhuram. Passengers also cruise the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden.

Havens of Antiquity & Holy Sites (May 6; 10 days) – Includes stops in Petra (Aqaba) (overnight); Eilat (overnight) and Tel Aviv, Israel (overnight); and Sorrento and Rome, Italy (overnight). The voyage also offers trips to Petra and Wadi Rum, as well as the resort town of Eilat and Ashdod, gateway to the sacred sites in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. The itinerary then continues to the Italian coastline.

Panoramic Israel (May 7; three days) – Includes stops in Eilat and Tel Aviv (overnight). Starting in the town of Eilat, guests can traverse the Suez Canal en route to Ashdod, where they can explore Jerusalem’s wonders and the city of Tel Aviv.

Mediterranean Masterpieces (May 10; six days) – Includes stops in Tel Aviv (overnight) and Sorrento, Rome (overnight). From Israel’s sacred sites to Rome’s Colosseum, Pantheon and Sistine Chapel, guests will also visit the Sorrento coast in between.
