Seabourn Releases Preview of Venture’s Dining Space

Seabourn has released a new preview of one of the dining venues onboard its new luxury expedition ship, the Seabourn Venture. The new ship is set to launch in June 2021.

Called The Colonnade, the new venue is designed by Adam D. Tihany, and it is located aft on Deck 5. Inspired by the wooden hulls of historic maritime design, the new venue will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner in a space with riveted curved wood ceiling panels and decorative metal plate details, integrated wood flooring and art displays of nautical knots.

Dinner here will be served tableside, while breakfast and lunch will be available via table service and at buffet-style stations. Special theme nights will serve Michelin-starred Chef Thomas Keller’s family-style dinners that pay homage to his American childhood, offering classic comfort dishes, such as clam bake and BBQ ribs, served family-style on platters.

The Colonnade will extend to the aft deck into The Patio, where guests can dine al fresco. The Patio will serve its own menu, with extended hours for lunch. Items will include fresh-baked pizza, Chef Keller’s Napa Burger and Yountwurst. The same aft deck will also have the ship’s infinity-inspired pool and two Jacuzzis, as well as two sculptural showers, all with clear views off the back of the ship.

The Colonnade will be one of eight dining venues onboard the Seabourn Venture. The ship will also have 132 oceanfront veranda suites. Following the debut of the Seabourn Venture, the cruise line will launch another, as-yet-unnamed sibling vessel.
