Seabourn’s Private Air Service Takes Off August 15

Seabourn is launching a new private air service. Called Seabourn Private Air, it will provide private chartered jet service to and from the luxury cruise line’ s ports of call, as well as mid-voyage overland options for Seabourn cruises worldwide. Bookings for the new service open August 15.

Seabourn Private Air uses a global network of operators who adhere to international and U.S. Federal Aviation Administration standards, Seabourn says. The new service will be able to accommodate groups of any size upon request, with available aircraft including light charter jets capable of carrying five to eight passengers; mid-size jets with capacity for seven to eight passengers; and heavy private jets with capacity for nine to 16 passengers. Pricing will vary by itinerary and aircraft.

Seabourn Private Air will also provide up front, comprehensive pricing for the private jet package; guests pay for the aircraft rather than by the seat. The cost of the Private Air package is in addition to the cruise fare.

The Private Air packages include access to a wide range of private airports and most major international airports; Wi-Fi; private valet luggage service; Seabourn-standard catering options; Seabourn-brand food and beverages on every flight; amenities by the line’s fragrance partner, Molton Brown; complimentary transfers to and from home to the nearest airport and onward to Seabourn’s cruise port; cabin attendants, required on some aircraft, or available upon request if not required; and next port protection up to 1,000 miles from the original destination.
