Silversea Cruises has revealed details on the public venues aboard its new ship Silver Nova, slated to launch in August 2023. The 728-guest ship will host 10 bars and lounges, eight restaurants and a range of additional public venues. In a first for the line, Silver Nova will have an asymmetrical design and a horizontal layout, which is intended to heighten the ship’s sense of spaciousness and provide a natural flow between venues across its decks.
In addition to signature venues with enhanced designs, the ship will also introduce new public areas—positioned mainly on Decks 3, 4 and 5, as well as outside on Deck 10. Silver Nova’s public spaces include The Dolce Vita Lounge, Silversea’s signature pre- and post-dinner drinks venue, located on deck five with capacity for up to 120 guests; The Venetian Lounge, which will host live theatrical and musical performances, film screenings and events on a given evening, besides lectures and seminars during the daytime; The Connoisseur’s Corner, offering guests a selection of premium cigars and liquors on Deck 5; The Observation Lounge, offering 270-degree views from Deck 10, besides the ship’s library; The Panorama Lounge, a peaceful lounge by day and a lively bar by night, offering panoramic views from the ship’s aft; The S.A.L.T. Bar, relocated to Deck 10 (with capacity for 42 guests); and The Shelter, a new venue for Silversea, will be an evening-only bar accommodating just 32 guests on Deck 3 for pre-dinner aperitifs and post-dinner cocktails.
Silver Nova’s additional public spaces will include a three-storied atrium, casino and two-story boutique, as well as two outdoor bars, the Pool Bar and the Dusk Bar, which will host guests on Deck 10.

The S.A.L.T. Lab, relocated to Deck 10, offering a new outdoor area, has been enhanced and can now accommodate 28 guests. The test kitchen will enable guests to travel deeper into each sailed region through the lens of food and drink, providing the opportunity to get hands on with regional ingredients under the guidance of local food experts and Silver Nova’s S.A.L.T. Host. It will comprise cooking stations and a larger, redesigned central workstation at which participating guests will be able to sit to view demonstrations.
The Otium Spa will be positioned towards Silver Nova’s bow on Deck 5 with a more spacious interior. Open throughout the day, it will have an indoor swimming pool, eight treatment rooms and a relaxation area, plus a fitness center and salon. The thermal area will be larger and include a steam room, sauna and pool, complete with travertine water fountain and floor-to-ceiling windows.
The ship will house eight signature restaurants serving a range of high-quality fare. Decks 3, 4 and 5 will accommodate Silver Nova’s indoor restaurants—La Terrazza, Atlantide, S.A.L.T. Kitchen, La Dame, Silver Note and Kaiseki—while the Marquee on Deck 10 will house two outdoor dining options, Spaccanapoli and the Grill. The ship will welcome up to 70 guests in Arts Café, the multi-purpose venue.
Silver Nova will accommodate guests in 364 spacious suites across 13 categories—the most suite categories in Silversea’s history—including a new generation of premium suites on the ship’s aft. The ship is expected to become the world’s first low-emissions cruise ship with advanced hybrid technology that utilizes fuel cells, emitting zero local emissions while in port, an industry first.
