The Strand Cruise Announces Family-Friendly Vacations

The Strand Cruise has just announced a series of voyages designed specifically for family travel. The three- and four-night luxury cruises in Myanmar will travel between Bagan and Mandalay. Departures are set starting this December and will continue through April 2018.

The Family Cruise departures will be adapted for young travelers and their parents. Children are able to join in special group activities led by the crew, allowing parents time for their own excursions—or time in the spa. There are also movie and game nights where parents can either join in or continuing their alone time.

The Strand Cruise has a large pool deck and flexible dining facilities. During the departures, special meals for children will be prepared such as fresh pasta and oven-baked pizzas, alongside more traditional family-style Burmese sharing plates.

One child of up to 15 years of age can travel free on these special departures when sharing a Strand Cabin with two adults. Infant cots are available on request and there are no age restrictions on these departures.

Rates include all excursions and activities on board as well as three meals during full sailing days, breakfast on day of disembarkation, soft drinks and local beer, house wine during meals, port charges, airport/hotel shuttle transportation to point of embarkation and from point of disembarkation, English speaking guides (alternative language guides can be provided on request subject to availability) and satellite Wi-Fi in all cabins and public areas.
