Country Walkers and VBT Partner With Allianz Global Assistance

Allianz Global Assistance has announced its partnership with Country Walkers and VBT Bicycling Vacations to provide active travelers biking and hiking around the world trip protection.

Country Walkers and VBT Bicycling Vacations are part of Xanterra Travel Collection. VBT offers more than 50 travel packages worldwide, from small group bicycling and self-guided bicycling to waterways “bike and boat” itineraries. Similarly, Country Walkers itineraries span the globe, providing guests with fully guided and self-guided tours, as well as flex-guided tours, which combine independent exploration and guided itineraries.

Allianz Travel Protection plans give travelers financial protection with 24/7 assistance in the event of covered trip cancellations or interruptions, lost or delay baggage, medical emergencies and other covered disruptions. In the event of a covered flight delay, customers whose plan includes SmartBenefits and enroll in the service may receive same-day payments. Plans are now available to United States residents reserving travel through Country Walkers and VBT Bicycling Vacations.

After riding along Europe's longest riverside bike path, the EuroVelo6, guests will step back onto the "Star-Ship" for cocktails, dinner and evening activities.
