New York, Barcelona, London Stand Out on World’s 50 Best Bars List

The World’s 50 Best Bars 2022, sponsored by Perrier, were unveiled at a live awards ceremony in Barcelona, Spain on Tuesday, October 4. Marking the 14th year of the list, and the first time it has been revealed outside of London, the awards aim to unite the global bar community in recognition of the bartenders, bar owners and brands at the forefront of the international cocktail scene.

Barcelona’s Paradiso was named The World’s Best Bar, which is the first time in the list’s history that the Catalonian capital has claimed the top spot, breaking new ground for this accolade being won by a bar outside New York or London. The list represents the ultimate international guide to the world’s top bars and drinking destinations; it is judged by an academy of more than 650 drinks experts, bartenders and consultants, drinks writers and cocktail specialists.
