Park Hyatt Vienna Set to Open in Mid 2014

Park Hyatt Vienna

Austria’s stately capital city is in the travel spotlight as it gets a slew of new luxury hotels. After the Me by Melia (which will open this fall), the Park Hyatt will make a splash on the Vienna scene in June 2014. The first Hyatt hotel in Austria will be housed in a historic-listed building on Am Hof square that’s currently getting restored. Located in the city’s Innere Stadt, or First District (which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the century-old building used to be the headquarters for the Bank Austria Creditanstalt.

Interior design firm FG Stijl is masterminding the contemporary style of the Park Hyatt Vienna. There will be 143 guest rooms including 35 suites. Boardroom meetings, conferences, and cocktail receptions can be accommodated in large, historic spaces. And for relaxing after-hours, there’s a fitness center, indoor pool, and spa. Dining venues run the gamet from a gourmet restaurant and Afternoon Tea lounge to a bar with outdoor terrace seating. For more information, visit www.vienna.park.hyatt.com
