A Trio of All-Inclusives in Jamaica for Millennials, Families and Couples

Millennial couples looking for sexy swimming pools and an emphasis on wellness should check the new Zoëtry Montego Bay. All of Zoëtry Montego Bay’s 49 suites come with enhanced amenities and unique architecture, and are situated in three main buildings: Wood & Water, Bamboo and Blue Mountain — a nod to Jamaica’s ecological tapestry.

We were told the best rooms here are the Swim-out Suites with Private Pools and the Master Suite Ocean View. Housed in the Blue Mountain building of the resort, the Master Suite Ocean View has a king bed and a private balcony that comes with a whirlpool.

Perhaps the best of the swim-out rooms are in the Junior Suite Swim Out Ocean View with Jacuzzi category. These rooms include direct access to a private pool from the terrace, a king bed and a Jacuzzi. Note: All rooms come with butler service.

For all room requests, connect with Kaydi-Ann Spencer ([email protected]), concierge manager.

Located on a private beach in the upscale Ironshore neighborhood, Zoëtry Montego Bay’s wellness offerings include a spa, yoga and meditation areas and a fitness center. Tip: Millennials with children can go to the Soul Juice Bar, beauty salon, possibly get a facial, or enjoy the yoga facility.

Zoëtry Montego Bay’s wellness offerings include a spa, yoga and meditation areas, and a fitness center.

Outdoor whirlpools, an infinity pool, a flowing swimming pool winding throughout the resort and other water elements complete the experience at Zoëtry Montego Bay.

For all spa requests, reach out to Karen Ebanks ([email protected]), spa director.

We hear the best dining option here is Jerky Jo’s, which offers an authentic Jamaican jerk outdoor experience serving jerk chicken and jerk pork with Red Stripe beer. Note: Reservations are not required at any of the restaurants at Zoëtry Montego Bay.

Travelers looking to do some shopping in Jamaica should request a complimentary shuttle, which takes them to the Shoppes at Rose Hall. The hotel is also just five minutes away from Jamaica’s largest airport, Sangster International Airport.

Small families looking for a condo feel should check out Jewel Grande Montego Bay Resort & Spa’s Three Bedroom Oceanfront Villa. The highlights of this room are the private balcony and the outdoor kitchen and grill.

For friends or couples traveling together, the Penthouse Suites are the most luxurious suite offerings. Located on the highest floors, guests can choose between the 2,260-square-foot three-bedroom / three-bathroom Penthouse or the 2,569-square-foot four-bedroom / four-bathroom Executive Penthouse. Note: Butler service is provided to all rooms.

The two-story Grande Spa is 30,000 square feet and includes 14 treatments rooms. Hint: We were told the two best treatments are the Wild Ginger Deep Tissue and Lemongrass Ayurvedic massages. Treatments should be booked up to 24 hours in advance.

Tip: For the best deep tissue masseuse, we were told to request either Hileah or Kerissa; for manicures and pedicures, ask for Nordia or Shannique, and for the Lemongrass Ayurvedic, ask for Melody or Dawn.

Jewel Grande Montego Bay Living Room

Jewel Grande Montego Bay’s Three Bedroom Oceanfront Villa has a private balcony and an outdoor kitchen and grill. Its décor is inspired by the Caribbean.

Nice Touch: Millennials with children between ages eight and 16 can have a family outing at the spa as it will begin offering a Kids and Teens Menu starting in December. For children, we were told to recommend the Superfruit Clearing Facial, which includes the use of fruits to clear the skin and assist with healing from sun damage.

Also recommended for younger spa-goers are the Reggae Relief Massage, a basic, gentle massage to relieve muscle tension; and the Irie Mani and Pedi, in which mini-VIPs get a brown sugar foot scrub before a mini massage and polish of their choice for both hands and feet.

Tip: Tell couples about the VIP Spa Suite, which includes massage tables, a shower and a tub. The treatment begins in the resort’s Signature Relaxation room before a Jamaican Bush bath helps loosen the muscles for a Himalayan Sea Salt Hot Stone Massage.

For all unique spa requests, connect with Sienna Creasy ([email protected]), spa director.

Guests dining at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Waves, might like the grilled jerk salmon, the coconut-pumpkin puree and the roasted pepper coulis. All three popular dishes are creations of Executive Chef Adrian Weichenberger.

Top dishes to order at Pier 8 include the Caribbean crab cake, the fish ceviche or the grilled red snapper.
