Alexandre Ariel Named General Manager of Fairmont Monte Carlo

Fairmont Monte Carlo has appointed Alexandre Ariel as its general manager. With over 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Ariel began his career at Hôtel de Crillon in Paris and Trianon Palace in Versailles. He then worked at Disney’s Chefs de France in Florida and Club Med in Paris before being named assistant director of food and beverage at InterContinental Chicago.

Ariel joined the Fairmont brand in 2007 at Fairmont Monte Carlo, where he held key positions such as director of events and director of food and beverage. Following four promotions, including one at Fairmont Rey Juan Carlos I in Barcelona, he returned to Monte Carlo in 2018 as hotel manager, leading significant projects that enhanced the hotel’s reputation and performance. Demonstrating exceptional leadership, strategic vision and unwavering dedication, Ariel has played a key role in the hotel’s evolution over recent years.

The hotel is entering a new era as it approaches its 50th anniversary, to be celebrated this year. Plans include renovated rooms and suites; a refreshed design for the Nobu Monte Carlo restaurant; and the opening of a new rooftop restaurant, Amù Monte Carlo, a few steps away from the new rooftop pool.
