The Anam Creates Christmas and New Years Activities

The Anam, a Vietnamese luxury beach resort, is getting ready for the holiday season by creating an array of experiences, including gala dinners, buffets and tasting menus from December 23 until January 1.

The program starts with a wine tasting at the Indochine Restaurant on December 23, along with a Christmas tree lighting ceremony on the hotel’s lawn overlooking Long Beach from 6. Mulled wine and Christmas cookies will be provided while a Christmas choir performs classic songs.

On the day before Christmas, families can decorate gingerbread figures at Lang Viet Restaurant and Bar. At the resort’s Santa Claus Corner, Saint Nicholas will give presents and wish children a Merry Christmas.

Prior to the gala dinner, the resort's general manager Herbert Laubichler-Pichler and his administrative team will host a cocktail party. Then, the Indochine Restaurant, Lang Viet Restaurant and Bar and The Colonial will be showcasing meals, including a four-course gla dinner, Vietnamese buffet and seven-course Christmas tasting menu. These eateries will also have live music.

On December 25, the resort will serve a Christmas breakfast with sparkling wine as Santa Clause and the Christmas choir perform. Christmas afternoon tea with mulled wine will be provided at The Colonial and Saigon Bar while a sand castle-building competition happens on the property’s private beach.

On the days following Christmas, the resort will hold its “Garden and Sun Artist in Residence." The resort’s gardens will turn into an open-air studio. Guest could watch and talk with local artists as they create artwork from December 26 - 29. The art is presented at a nightly exhibition from December 29 until December 31 at Au Lac Ballroom.

On the day before New Year’s Eve, the Indochine will host a wine tasting and provide a sample of the wines to be served during the next day’s celebrations.

On New Year’s Eve, the culinary team will make cupcakes at Lang Vet Restaurant. New Year’s Day will feature a buffet breakfast with pastries, fruit, and Asian and Western breakfast starters. That afternoon, a Vienna New Year’s Day Concert will be staged at Lang Viet Restaurant and Bar.

From December 24 to January 5, international DJ’s will perform each night at the Sports Bar.
