Andaz 5th Avenue has debuted seven new Wellness Suites, which celebrate the destination with a series of partnerships and exclusive amenities centered on health, well-being and self-care. The luxury hotel transformed existing suites, which have views of the Empire State Building and New York Public Library across the street, so guests can elevate their wellness journey in-room. Guests can expect The Mirror Gym by Lululemon, an Airweave mattress and Mini Bar RX program.
The vision for the new suites is focused on three landmarks of wellbeing: “Feel” (how one feels; emotional and mental wellbeing), “Fuel” (how one fuels and powers their body; inclusive of things like food and sleep), and “Function” (how one moves and functions in work, life and play).
Here’s how Andaz sought to check those three boxes:
Feel: Exclusive to the hotel’s Wellness Suites, each room has an innovative Airweave Mattress surface technology for deeper more restful sleep, as well as Sleep Science Programming to enhance the sleep experience with lavender essential oil, sound machine and literature to promote quality sleep. The partnership with Head Space provides complimentary, curated mindfulness and sleep exercises and a Tibetan Singing Bowl for meditation and Mineral Therapy Bath salts are available enjoy in the suite’s soaking tub.
Bonus: An exclusively commissioned living wall by a New Jersey-based Naturalist helps clean the surrounding air, create a sense of well-being, lower levels of anxiety, increase attentiveness and memory, reduce stress levels and spark creativity.
Fuel: In the complimentary wellness minibar, guests will find A Mason Bar (granola bar, made fresh in-house), Collagen Peptide by Vital Proteins, Brooklyn-based FINE AND RAW Dark Chocolate bar, and LesserEvil Coconut Oil Organic Popcorn. Each Suite also has a selection of Harney & Son herbal tea. The Wellness RX minibar showcases wellness-inspired add-ons that guests can purchase, such as Mighty GumImmunity Gum, HRBLS Wellness Chews, Vitality Collagen Water, Gwell snack packs that provide stress, energy and immune support, New York-based Jiant Hard Kombucha and Bronx Brewery craft beer
As for in-room dining, the menu also shares key details with guests ranging from which items are high in vitamin C to those that feature antioxidants
Function: Suites are complete with a Lululemon Mirror Gym, which includes complimentary adjustable weights by Flybird, branded yoga mat and blocks, a foam roller and resistance bands to enhance the Mirror Gym workout experience. Additionally, the suite experience includes a new, dedicated wellness concierge service concept to assist guests’ every need.
