Andrew Archibald Named Managing Director of Rosewood Bermuda

Rosewood Bermuda has named Andrew Archibald its new managing director. In his new role, Archibald will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the 200-acre, seaside resort in Tucker’s Point, including the 88-room hotel, private member’s club, beach club and the Charles Banks-designed golf club. In addition, he will work closely with the Bermuda Tourism Authority to support the resort’s mission of providing guests with immersive experiences and authentic programming.

Archibald comes from within the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts family, having joined The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel in New York City in 2020 as hotel manager and serving as the interim managing director for six months.

In addition to his deep understanding of the brand, Archibald brings with him well-rounded hospitality experience in the U.S., U.K. and Australia. He previously held roles at The Mandarin Oriental New York City and The Ritz Hotel London and was the resort manager of Meadowood Resort and Spa in Napa Valley before joining Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.

“At Rosewood we are committed to growing our talent from within to become exceptional leaders who lend unique expertise while also embodying our brand values,” said Radha Arora, president of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “Andrew has proven himself an invaluable asset to our organization and we are proud to recognize his accomplishments with this well-deserved appointment to lead the Rosewood Bermuda team.”

Originally from Australia, Archibald attended Southern Cross University where he studied business, tourism and hospitality. He is an avid sportsman, with a passion for rugby and golf, another reason he is looking forward to settling into his new home of Bermuda.
