One&Only Mandarina, a luxury beach resort on Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit coastline, has announced the promotion of Patricio Carregha to resort manager. In this new role, Carregha will continue working alongside General Manager Serge Ditesheim, supervising all operations, including rooms, F&B, and spa divisions, while developing and evolving the team, and ensuring the delivery of memorable guest experiences.
With over a decade of experience in the luxury hospitality industry, Carregha joined Kerzner International in 2012 as tennis club manager and head pro at One&Only Resorts’ first Mexico-based property, One&Only Palmilla in Los Cabos. In 2014, he began a new role as guest relations coordinator before heading to Kerzner’s Atlantis, The Palm for six months as task force to cross-train in F&B. Upon returning to Los Cabos, Carregha served in various roles such assistant director of housekeeping, front office manager, and assistant director of rooms until rising through the ranks to his ultimate promotion to director of rooms in 2019.
In 2020, he was part of the pre-opening team of One&Only Mandarina as executive assistant manager of rooms, where was in charge of selecting the rooms team, besides leading the onboarding and training of the department’s colleagues in the culture and standards of the One&Only brand.
As resort manager at One&Only Mandarina, Carregha will continue working with the executive team to develop innovative strategies for the resort.
