Borgo Santo Pietro, a five-star boutique hotel and estate in Tuscany, Italy will have four new suites when it reopens in March 2018. The property now boasts 20 rooms along with a vegetable garden that provides greens to the on-property restaurant and a spa.
Also new to the hotel will be the renovated Sull'Albero Trattoria, Brasserie and Bar. Built around a giant oak tree, the location will offer traditional Tuscan food and wine. The menu features farm-to-table produce and organic dairy and meat.
La Casa dei Fiori Bianchi
These two secluded pool suites have the ability to be connected to form a single complex. Each suite has its own terrace and private 380-square-foot saltwater pool fitted with a Jacuzzi and cascade. The terraces are designed for total privacy and have a fireplace and sun beds by the pool. Inside, guests will find a separate a bedroom, living room and walk-in wardrobe to the bathroom with double vanity and marble bath with its own glass enclave overlooking the pool and opens directly onto the terrace. Located along the Pilgrims' Path, which follows an ancient pilgrimage route through the grounds, La Casa dei Fiori Bianchi's pays homage to the Knights Templar.
Dina Ferri
Named in honor of renowned local "shepherdess poet" Dina Ferri, this garden suite offers a retreat from the everyday. Private gardens can be found on two sides, which allow for both privacy and silence. The fireside lounge helps to bring together indoor and outdoor living space with its location both inside and out. The bathroom has a sofa, stone shower, double vanity, and hand-painted clawfoot tub next to the sun terrace.
Dea Feronia
This garden suite brings together sky, earth and garden. Outside, guests will find private gardens and a terrace lines with sun beds to look over the greenery. There is also plenty of lounge space by the outdoor fireplace and a Moroccan daybed. Meanwhile inside guests will find another fireplace, walk-in wardrobe, and large bathroom.
