Cala Luna Boutique Hotel & Villas Showcases Wellness Program

Cala Luna Boutique Hotel & Villlas is announcing its wellness program.

The hotel tucked within Costa Rica’s Playa Langosta and the Baulas National Park is launching a series of luxury wellness retreats. Its first one began October 17 and will run through October 24 featuring yoga practitioner Arkady Shirin. The Yoga and Martial Arts retreat will encourage participants to practice asanas and ancient vinyasas combined with Martial Arts, bodywork tips and more.

Cala Luna Boutique Hotel & Villas says a typical morning at Cala Luna begins with outdoor yoga classes surrounded by jungle and the sounds of native birds and monkeys. Guests can then experience the hotel’s indoor/outdoor spa which offers healing practices, volcanic rock and mud treatments and holistic massages. They can also visit the nearby La Senda, an organic farm that houses the world’s largest meditative cacti labyrinths.

La Senda produces all vegetables used at the hotel and local fisherman provide the hotel with freshly caught seafood. The hotel says meats are also responsibly sourced.

Other sustainable practices at the hotel include using solar energy, providing sustainability workshops to hotel staff, recycling, biodegradable toiletries, glass-bottled water, bamboo straws, environmentally safe cleaning products, complimentary bikes for guests to explore around Tamarindo and much more.

Cala Luna Boutique Hotels & Villas is two-and-a-half-miles south of Liberia Airport.
