Curtain Bluff Reopens with Enhanced Look and New Offerings

Reopening for its 62nd season, Curtain Bluff in Antigua is welcoming guests following an extensive, multimillion-dollar renovation during the summer closure period. Enhancements include a new adults-only Wellness Area, besides select refurbished room and suite products inclusive of the hotel’s two Hulford Collection Suites, Morris and Grace Bay Pool Suites, and a selection of Junior Suites.

The resort’s new Wellness Area will cater to adult guests, while the updated fitness facilities has doubled in size. Nearby, guests will find a new standalone Yoga Pavilion built among the Zen gardens. The newly built infinity pool and jacuzzi have been strategically placed along the waterfront to afford 180-degree ocean views. The new Wellness Area is also situated next to the waterfront spa.

Elsewhere, the newly enhanced beach pool offers fresh chaise lounges, couches and additional umbrellas.

As part of the reopening, Curtain Bluff will offer a range of experiences for guests throughout the season, including the annual tennis competitions. In fact, the resort is known for its tennis facilities, which includes four floodlit championship hard courts. Friendly, fun and informative, Curtain Bluff’s resident pros can provide private lessons, challenging games and tennis tips, while just next to the courts, guests can enjoy a browse in the Pro Tennis shop. The Curtain Bluff Tennis Challenge, which will take place =November 4–11, 2023, is designed for tennis players of all levels, providing athletes with the opportunity to sharpen their skills and play alongside local pros to gain new strategy and tactics, complete with views of the Caribbean Sea. The week also includes a range of other activities such as yoga and Pilates classes, snorkeling trips to Cades Reef, aquatic class, Hobie-cat sailing to Tobacco Beach and more.

Good to know: The Curtain Bluff team has also announced the return of scuba diving experiences this season. The excursion is available for guests who are certified divers and may be booked via the hotel’s water sports team when on property.
