The David Kempinski Debuts on Tel Aviv’s Beachfront

The David Kempinski Tel Aviv has officially made its debut. It is Kempinski Hotels’ first property in Israel and takes the brand’s property count to 80.

Set in the heart of the city’s tayelet, or boardwalk, the hotel is steps away from the city’s popular outdoor sports and water activities, including standup paddle boarding and surfing lessons, bicycle and running tours, and open-air yoga sessions. It also has direct access to the beach.

Housed in a 34-story skyscraper designed by Feigin Architects, the 250-room-and-suite property’s highlights are 56 suites with views of the Mediterranean Sea; this includes the triplex-penthouse suite, which spans over 4,000 square feet, with sea views showcased via 20-foot floor-to-ceiling windows. The penthouse includes two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, living space and dining room, a gym and a private terrace with a 30-foot infinity pool.

Helmed by Chef Mor Cohen, The David Kempinski Tel Aviv houses five kosher dining venues spread across multiple floors. The Sereia Restaurant offers a selection of fresh catches of the day. Sereia Lounge offers a health-driven menu and pastries. The Horizon Lounge, on the 22nd floor, is an exclusive space available for select rooms and suites, with round-the-clock food service, business facilities and lounging areas.

The Pool Bar offers light bites and drinks, and the Common Bar showcases a two-in-one bar concept that includes a Cohiba Atmosphere-branded cigar bar, besides Israel’s first House of Macallan whisky bar. The hotel’s rooftop private pool and full-serviced lounge restaurant is reserved for Signature Suite guests. Additionally, the dining bar venue Cloud51 is slated to debut on the rooftop in July this year.

The OKOA Spa offers 11 treatment rooms, including two couple rooms with jacuzzis, a gym, a dry and wet sauna, and a relaxation area. The David Kempinski Tel Aviv also offers meeting and banquet spaces that can accommodate up to 500 guests.
