Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve to Reopen in Fall 2018

Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve announced that the property will officially reopen its doors in October 2018. During the resortation, each of the resort’s 114 beachfront guestrooms and suites will be updated with a reimagined color palette, while new dining and wellness amenities will be added. Outside, the Reserve’s grounds will see the addition of more than 300,000 new flora and fauna.

Su Casa, the property’s five-bedroom villa, which was originally home to the historical figure Clara Livingston, is being fully modernized. The villa is suited for families, groups or social gatherings.

Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve will also offer new dining concepts. The resort’s signature restaurant and bar is being reimagined with a new concept scheduled to debut in mid-November. Meanwhile, the family-friendly poolside restaurant, Encanto Beach Club Bar & Grill, will offer a new dinner menu of coastal cuisine, highlighting the seafood and authentic dishes from the Mediterranean, while the lunch menu will have lighter fare. The beachside restaurant, Positivo Sandbar, will debut an Omakase & Ceviche Bar situated right on the beach. For guests who wish to connect with the local culture through food, La Cocina Culinary Center will continue to host cooking classes and private dinners.

Spa Botánico is also being fully revitalized. In addition to a locally inspired treatment menu and handcrafted products that are made in the on-site apothecary, the facility will see a new spa cuisine concept this fall. Additionally, the Fitness Center and Movement Studio will have the latest cardio and weight equipment, while the retail spaces will welcome two new boutiques with selections of accessories and giftware as well as exclusive resort-wear for everyone.
