Valentine’s Day Travel: Romantic Packages From The Dorchester Collection

If you haven't made Valentine's Day plans yet, don't worry. Dorchester Collection hotels in cities around the world are still offering special romance packages and deals for celebrating couples. A quick selection includes bespoke couples’ treatments at Le Meurice, a six-course Michelin-starred Valentine menus at Hotel Eden, and special Valentine’s Day-themed Champagne Afternoon Teas at The Dorchester. 

The Dorchester, London

As part of the hotel’s newly launched Romance at The Dorchester package, couples will be greeted upon arrival with an upgrade to the next room category, flowers by in-house florist Philip Hammond, and a bottle of Laurent-Perrier Champagne and chocolates. In the morning, after breakfast, couples can take advantage of free access to the spa including the Aromatic Steam room.

Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s Valentine Champagne Afternoon Tea in The Promenade with a glass of Laurent-Perrier Cuvée NV or Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rose Champagne. The Valentine Champagne Afternoon Tea is available from Saturday, February 10 to Sunday, February 18, 2018. At the Dorchester Spa, guests can opt for a “his & hers” Valmont facial followed by a glass of champagne. 

45 Park Lane, London

Couples can enjoy a selection of romantic cocktails and champagne at BAR 45, and dine on a special Valentine’s menu, created by executive chef David McIntyre, at CUT at 45 Park Lane, celebrated chef Wolfgang Puck’s only restaurant in Europe. The set menu is available on Valentine’s Day.

The new Romance at 45 Park Lane package includes an overnight stay for two with English breakfast, a bottle of champagne on arrival and a bouquet of flowers by Philip Hammond.

Coworth Park, Ascot

Coworth Park welcomes guests for an overnight stay for two with breakfast, a bottle of champagne and special chocolate amenity on arrival with the Romance at Coworth Park package. It also includes a three-course dinner for two at The Barn with a sommelier’s choice bottle of wine. Couples are then welcomed back to their room adorned with rose petals to end the day.

With traditional finger sandwiches, pastries and a bottle of Champagne, couples can enjoy a Valentine Afternoon Tea at The Drawing Room. Restaurant Coworth Park will offer a Valentine’s Day Tasting Menu, including a glass of Laurent-Perrier Champagne and wine pairings, or guests can opt for the four-course Valentine Dinner Menu at The Barn.

Le Meurice, Paris

The La Vie en Rose package at Le Meurice includes a bottle of champagne, mini pink pastries and a bouquet of roses prepared for guests’ arrival, a room upgrade, and late check-out at 4 p.m. A complimentary book about romance in Paris and free access to the sauna, hammam and fitness center at the Dior Institut are also included. 

The Champagne Duo Ritual is an additional romantic touch encouraging guests to unwind in the Spa Valmont’s double treatment room. The one-hour treatment starts with a moment in the hammam, followed by a warm oil massage and completed with a glass of champagne in the lounge.

Hôtel Plaza Athénée, Paris

In addition to a bottle of champagne, chocolates and a bouquet of flowers prepared for guests’ arrival, the package includes a room upgrade and free access to the sauna and hammam at the Dior Institut.

At the three Michelin-starred Alain Ducasse au Plaza Athénée, guests can opt for a special tasting menu, complimentary box of chocolates and a special surprise to take away. Couples can also experience the five-course Valentine menu at Le Relais Plaza, including turbot with black truffles, king crab and veil filet mignon. A Revitalising Escape treatment is available at the Dior Institut’s double treatment room as well, which includes a body massage and facial treatment.

Hotel Principe di Savoia, Milan

The hotel’s Romance Offer includes one-night accommodation for two with breakfast, a bottle of champagne and strawberries on arrival. A celebratory dinner at Acanto Restaurant and complimentary limousine service to and from the city center are also available as part of the offer. Acanto Restaurant will have a special dinner for the evening of Valentine’s Day, as well. The dinner will be accompanied by live music and a red rose for the ladies.

Couples can also visit Club 10 Fitness & Beauty Center for a special Valentine’s Day Spa package. Included is a 50-minute Deep Tissue massage or a Hydramemory Complete Facial treatment by Comfort Zone, and at the end of the session, complimentary access to Club 10’s facilities.

Hotel Eden, Rome

Hotel Eden’s Memories Last Forever package includes a celebratory bottle of champagne on arrival, €100 (approximately $124) spa credit and luxury accommodation for two nights with breakfast, offering couples time to explore the city center and discover famous landmarks like The Vatican City and the Colosseum.

Guests staying at Hotel Eden have the choice of a romantic scented aperitif at La Libreria in partnership with artistic research perfumery Campomarzio70, a four-course menu at Il Giardino Ristorante & Bar, or a six-course Valentine menu at La Terrazza, Hotel Eden’s Michelin-starred restaurant.

The Beverly Hills Hotel, Beverly Hills

With the Beverly Hills Romance package, couples get the Deluxe Room with a bottle of champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and $100 daily breakfast credit per room. The hotel’s Polo Lounge restaurant is offering four-course dinner menu by chef Kaleo Adams on Valentine’s Day, including Poached Santa Barbara Spot prawns, Maryland Bass with Braised Fennel and Dark Chocolate Molten Cake, accompanied by a selection of wine pairings from the expert sommelier.

Plus, for the whole month of February, spa guests receive a complimentary aromatherapy upgrade with all massages. Guests who use the 90-minute Brilliant Diamond Lifting Facial treatment will receive a complimentary Natura Bisse spa gift.

Hotel Bel-Air, Los Angeles

Guests can enjoy luxury accommodation for two, a bottle of champagne, Wolfgang Puck chocolates and $100 daily breakfast credit per room with the Bel-Air Romance package. For dinner, Wolfgang Puck at Hotel Bel-Air is serving a special Valentine’s Day dinner with champagne and caviar to start, followed by a three-course menu featuring French black truffles.

The Relaxing Romance treatment at the Hotel Bel-Air Spa includes an Aromatherapy Massage and Bel-Air Gardens Manicure. Couples can also try a Beloved Bliss treatment, including a Hydration Facial and Bel-Air Gardens Pedicure. A glass of champagne, sweet treats, and a luxury Valmont gift-to-go complete the experience.
