Four Seasons in Napa Valley Debuts Private Retreats

Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley in Calistoga has launched Private Retreats, a collection of one- and two-story luxury residences.

This Four Seasons Resort property, which recently opened as the region’s first and only resort located on a working winery, has added eight vacation homes to its offering of accommodations. The interiors range from 2,500-3,460 square feet, the largest being a four-bedroom residence with a private pool along Napa Valley’s Silverado Trail.

Each residence draws inspiration from the California countryside, pairing modern farmhouse architecture with sophisticated yet understated interiors. The residences have open-concept kitchens, five-fixture bathrooms, walk-in closets and private outdoor terraces with fire pits where guests can enjoy views of the vineyards and the Palisades mountains. Select Private Retreats are available to rent. A range of services and amenities are also available to book, including pre-arrival grocery shopping, on-site massages and intimate private yoga sessions, among others.

Just outside each residence is the nearly five-acre vineyard and winery, helmed by winemaker Jonathan Walden and consulting winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown. Guests can explore the world of wine and winemaking at Elusa Winery, including harvest activities and guided tasting sessions with cheese pairings. They can also enjoy other amenities on the resort grounds, including TRUSS Restaurant + Bar, two outdoor swimming pools dedicated for families and adults, CAMPO Poolside restaurant, the fully supervised Kids for All Seasons program, a bocce ball court, fitness facilities, vineyard barn, Spa Talisa, and meeting and event facilities.
