The Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas Resort Makes Debut

The Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas Resort recently made its debut as the newest luxury resort in the Solmar Hotels & Resorts’ collection of all-suite properties. Now, the new property on the most southern tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula has revealed the first phase of its 834-acre private resort community that blends a resort experience with residential lifestyle amenities.

The resort’s first phase unveils 89 oceanfront suites in two buildings. Three different suites are available – all with views of the Pacific Ocean – including the Grand Studio, the One-Bedroom Master Suite, and the Two-Bedroom Presidential Suite.

The suites’ interiors aim to reflect the desert-by-the-sea atmosphere with the use of wooden cabinetry, marine elements like corals and shells, as well as light furnishings accented by Mexican colors.

After they leave their suites, guests can find numerous amenities at the Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas. The resort includes a private beach sanctuary with lounges and cabanas, two adult-only infinity pools, one kids pool with a mini waterpark, a fitness center with Life Fitness equipment, a beauty salon, laundromat, health clinic, and concierge services.

The Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas also offers outdoor spaces including courtyards, gardens, and a wedding pavilion fronting an event lawn that overlooks the ocean. Plus, the multi-level spa at the resort offers several healing massages and body therapies designed for relaxation and renewal.

Grand Solmar at Rancho San Lucas also offers a variety of dining options as well. La Roca, the resort’s signature restaurant, serves an international menu of freshly-caught seafood, homemade breads, and other Mexican flavors. The Las Olas Poolside Bar & Grill is a more casual, outdoor option with numerous culinary selections and handcrafted tropical cocktails.

Guests can also visit the Deli Café for Oaxaca coffee, freshly made salads, wraps and sandwiches. At the Brisas Grill Bar, guests can enjoy sushi, salads, wraps, and low-fat smoothies. Finally, the poolside Tide Bar offers a range of cocktails, bar fare and treats.

The resort’s location places guests near other attractions in Los Cabos, including its nightlife scene, sightseeing opportunities, and outdoor activities like fishing, surfing, sailing, and off-roading on ATVs. Guests can also visit the Arch of Cabo San Lucas by boat and go scuba diving in the National Marine Park Cabo Pulmo.

Additionally, guests will soon be able to enjoy an 18-hole Greg Norman golf course, slated for completion during winter of 2018-2019, and a Mexican Village shopping and entertainment center.
