From January 24-26, 2019, guests at Grand Velas Los Cabos can attend special classes and workshops as part of the resort’s 2019 Wellnessing Getaway. Featuring industry leaders, the event will provide healthy cooking and nutrition workshops, tools for practical meditation, yoga and fitness classes and other mindful wellness activities.

Yoga teacher and vegan-trained chef Nikki Sharp will start the event off with Vinyasa Flow Class and an Interactive Cooking Class. Author and director of the Institute for Transformational Thinking, Benjamin Decker will help guests learn practical meditation techniques designed to help their relationships, work, creativity and spirituality. Yoga teacher and nutritionist Karla Tafra will lead a Barre class intended to tone and strengthen the body as well as a nutrition workshop on cleansing.

Additional activities during this three-day event will include an aromatherapy class, meditation with sound therapy, juicing session, energy cleanse, wellness dinner and more. All activities will be covered by the resort’s nightly rate.

While staying at Grand Velas Los Cabos for the wellness event, guests can stay in one of the Velas’ Wellness Suites. These accommodations provide an assortment of fitness and wellness amenities, such as a MUSE headband to assist with meditation, an in-suite exercise kit, an aromatherapy kit and more.

Situated on Mexico’s Baja Peninsula between Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo, Grand Velas Los Cabos offers 307 ocean view suites. Amenities include a 35,000 square-foot spa, three pools, a fitness center and, soon, a contemporary art gallery.
