The Holston House Debuts in Nashville

Occupying an 88-year-old Art Deco building, Holston House Nashville, the newest addition to The Unbound Collection by Hyatt brand, has opened its doors. The 191-room hotel is located in the heart of downtown Nashville, blocks from the Cumberland River and next to many of Music City’s top attractions. The site of the former 1920s-era James Robertson Hotel was originally designed by Nashville-based architects Marr & Holman in 1929, and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1984.

Guestrooms

Holston House’s guestrooms have cognac-hued leather headboards with metal detailing, pendant lights, and hardwood floors covered with bamboo silk area rugs. A black steel and wood wardrobe with integrated mirror is designed as a multifunctional piece to store valuables and clothes. Additionally, the Executive King rooms have a living room with a velvet-backed sofa and table.

The hotel also has four one-bedroom corner suites with a separate living room and powder room, and two large Penthouse Suites with terraces. The two Penthouse Suites can be connected, totaling 1,645 square feet, including outdoor areas. When combined, the suites also grant access to The Bungalow, a private room opening to the rooftop pool deck. The Bungalow has flexible seating areas, a minibar, folding glass windows and a terrace.

All 191 guestrooms include complimentary internet access, a 50-inch 4K Ultra HD interactive television, a Keurig coffeemaker with complimentary coffee and tea, bathroom amenities from C.O. Bigelow and more.

Restaurant and Bar Experiences

TENN: An American restaurant "infused with Southern flavor and culinary tradition." The menu comprises ingredients sourced from regional farmers, ranchers and anglers such as the Fried Catfish Sandwich at the Chicken Two Ways (Nashville hot and beer-brined). It's open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Bar TENN: Overlooking the lobby is Bar TENN, which has a performance stage and aims to be a local hot spot. Bar TENN serves American small bites with a Southern flare (much like TENN), accompanied by craft beer, classic cocktails and wine. In addition to a menu of bar offerings, specialty roasted coffee and espresso drinks are served all day long.

TENN on Top: Opening in March, TENN on Top will have regularly scheduled DJs and live music, which will begin nightly at sunset. The rooftop bar will have a selection of hot and cold small plates and will be stocked with a myriad of bourbons, scotches and other whiskeys.
