Hotel Arts Barcelona has introduced a special Valentine’s Day Proposal getaway in Spain that culminates with a marriage proposal coordinated by the hotel concierge. The three-night stay includes romantic dinners, a personal photographer to capture the highlights of the trip and more. Additionally, couples will receive a custom flower arrangement made by the hotel’s florist designer, a couple’s massage, and private dining with personal instrumentalists.
The concierge at the hotel will work together with the guests to plan the surprise proposal. Examples of settings include the hotel’s high-rise penthouse terraces that offer views of Barcelona, Tibidabo Mountain overlooking the city, the medieval streets of the Gothic Quarters, La Sagrada Familia and Park Guell.
Following the proposal, couples will be provided with a driver to bring them around Barcelona while accompanied by a photographer. Their personal photographer will capture their engagement moments in front of iconic sights and landmarks in the city.
Couples can settle in to the hotel with a pre-arranged private check in, followed by an introduction to one of the premium suites, located on the upper floors of the hotel, offering views of the city, the Mediterranean or both.
Upon arriving to their rose petal-decorated suite, guests will be greeted with Cava and chocolate-covered strawberries. The hotel’s florist designer, Donna Stain, will also work with the “proposer” to assemble a flower arrangement for their partner with the flowers of their choice.
The newly engaged couple will continue their post-proposal getaway with private services such as side-by-side massage treatments in the suite’s lounge area, performed by the masseuses from the hotel’s 43 the Spa, and a dinner for two in the suite’s dining room. Executive chef Antonio Saez will prepare the exclusive multi-course, wine-paired dinner, complete with a personal pianist or string quartet.
The Ultimate Proposal Experience with premium suite accommodations starts at approximately $6,124 and includes Club Lounge access as well as airport transfers.
