The Inn Above Tide, a waterfront hotel in Sausalito, CA, has partnered with Seaplane and Aero Adventures—the only seaplane base helipad in the Bay Area—to offer a new package to offer the “Come Fly With Me” package, a one-hour private Northern California seaplane tour and overnight stay.
The aerial exploration commences as guests ascend into the skies above Marin County. The pilot acts as a storyteller, weaving tales of the past and present as guests traverse the landscape. The rolling hills above San Francisco come to life with anecdotes and insights that unveil their hidden narratives. As they glide along the Pt. Reyes National Seashore, guests can witness the playful dance of porpoises and the presence of whales along the coastline. The journey leads them to the iconic Pt. Reyes Lighthouse and, continuing along Highway One, guests can see the Golden Gate.
San Francisco reveals itself from a fresh perspective as guests soar above its beaches and the waterfront of Crissy Field. For sports enthusiasts, the pilot provides viewpoints that unveil Oracle Park, home of the San Francisco Giants, among other notable landmarks. The flight then culminates with orbits around two iconic islands—Alcatraz and Angel Islands. As the adventure draws to a close, the seaplane descends, making a splash into the tranquil waters of Richardson Bay. The water landing adds a touch of novelty to the whole experience.
The seaplane accommodates up to five guests. The “Come Fly With Me” package is available beginning November 1 through February 29, 2024.
