Intercontinental Resort Introduces Vietnamese Culture Package

Intercontinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort has announced its new Vietnamese Cultural Experience package. The five-star, hillside resort and spa in Vietnam has created the package to give guests an inside look at Vietnamese culture.  

The package includes:

  • Vietnamese lantern building, Conical Hat making, and Vietnamese coffee art class 
  • Day trip to discover Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage site and ancient village dating from the 15th Century
  • Accommodation with a daily buffet breakfast
  • Round trip airport transfers 

The resort opened in June 2012 and has been recognized by Architectural Digest for having one of the most beautifully designed new restaurants, La Maison 1888. The restaurant is the first in Vietnam that has a three-star Michelin chef, according to the company. The 200-room luxury resort was designed by renowned architect, Bill Bensley from Bensley Design Studios Bangkok. Available room options include suites, penthouses, and villas. 

Guests can spend time on the 700-meter private beach or at one of the three pools, which includes an adults-only infinity pool and kids’ pool. There are also basket boat lessons, a sports center, and trekking trips to nearby Son Tra Nature Reserve. 

The resort is 30 minutes by car from the Da Nang International Airport and nearby downtown Danang, Danang's famous beach has 94 km of white pristine coastline and is located 10 minutes' from the resort. Complimentary hotel shuttle service connects the resort with downtown Danang, as well as the historic city of Hoi An.
