Kimpton Hotels and Resorts newest hotel, the Kimpton Armory Hotel in Bozeman, Montana, will debut August 18, becoming the brand’s first property in Montana. Located in a landmark National Guard Armory building joined by a new tower in Bozeman’s downtown, the hotel blend “Montana's rugged beauty and the storied history of the building” with modern amenities. This week, Virtuoso shared that Montana is on the Top 5 domestic destinations that its clients want to visit.
Bozeman is surrounded by the Northern Rocky Mountain range and close to a number of other landmarks, including Yellowstone National Park, Big Sky and the Gallatin River. That means gusts have plenty of opportunities for outdoor excursions—hiking, biking, fly-fishing, rafting, skiing. Downtown Bozeman is home to shopping, dining and nightlife set in a turn-of-the-century historic district.
The hotel’s 122-guestrooms include Frette linens, Atelier Bloem luxury toiletries and custom art pieces. Hotel guests can also enjoy complimentary yoga mats, bicycles, a fitness room and a hosted evening “adult” beverage. Set atop the tallest building in town, the rooftop pool, which will open later this summer, provides mountain views.
The Kimpton Armory Hotel is encouraging guests to “Drive, Park, Discover,” this summer, with special offer rates that includes a curated travel tote full of housemade road trip snacks and parking. The “Room to Roam” package may include stays at both Denver Kimpton Hotels, the Hotel Monaco in Salt Lake City, and a stay at Bozeman’s Armory Hotel to create the “ultimate” driving vacation in the Rockies.
Additionally, there are three dining options (Fielding’s, Tune Up and Sky Shed) and the Armory Music Hall. Atop the building, Sky Shed is a glass-enclosed rooftop bar. The menu focuses on light bites and shareable dishes paired with cocktails. Sky Shed is scheduled to open later this summer.
The hotel will open with enhanced health and cleaning protocols as part of Kimpton’s “Clean Promise.” The initiative ensures guestrooms will be thoroughly disinfected between stays, physical distancing will be encouraged, and gloves and masks will be available for guests.
