The Leading Hotels of the World Welcomes Eight New Members

The Leading Hotels of the World has added eight new member hotels to its portfolio. This season’s collection includes three new hotel openings, including a stylish city pad in Milan, futuristic desert dens in Arizona and a Belle Epoque gem on the French Riviera.

United States

Ambiente, A Landscape Hotel is set on three rugged acres among Sedona, Arizona’s iconic red rock monoliths. The newly opened sustainable hotel’s 40 cube-shaped rooms, called Atriums, sport private rooftop decks that put the Dark Sky city’s stars on full display.

Espacio The Jewel of Waikiki offers just nine multi-bedroom residences with their own butler service. Each two- or three-bedroom accommodation occupies an entire floor and delivers views of the Pacific Ocean via floor-to-ceiling windows and private balconies. Additionally, each full-service private residence offers access to a rooftop infinity pool, spa and restaurant.

Europe

Alpin Resort Sacher Seefeld in Austria’s Tirol offers 81 suites and rooms, and an impressive 54,000 square feet of wellness space. Activities include hiking in the summer or taking a guided e-bike tour of the mountains, besides skiing in the winter.

France’s 151-key Anantara Plaza Nice Hotel has Belle Epoque architecture and is just steps away from the palm-lined beaches of the Promenade de Anglais. The new opening also houses a spa and the rooftop SEEN by Olivier restaurant and bar.

Another new opening is Casa Baglioni in Milan. The 30-key hotel also has a destination restaurant and a modernist wine cellar offering tastings of more than 850 Italian and international vintages.

Located on one of the prettiest bays in Sicily with its own private beach club, Mazzarò Sea Palace is a 70-room resort is within easy reach of Taormina. Its culinary and wellness offerings showcase Sicilian traditions. Private boat trips can be arranged to Isola Bella and the nearby natural marine reserve.

Relais Santa Croce by Baglioni Hotels in Florence is a newly renovated 18th-century, 24-room mansion with two restaurants. Set amid the lively arts district of Santa Croce, the hotel is steps away from the home of Michelangelo and a trove of cultural landmarks. The hotel is set to reopen in spring.

Located in Turkey’s Belek, The Montgomerie Golf Club by Maxx Royal Resorts has 512 suites and private villas, 14 food and beverage venues, a golf course, tennis courts, multiple pools and family-friendly entertainment.
