The Loren at Lady Bird Lake, Austin’s newest luxury hotel, is now open. Situated across the river from downtown, near the city’s iconic Hike and Bike Trail, The Loren hotel offers upscale service, amenities and dining, complete with sweeping views of the downtown skyline and Lady Bird Lake.
Offering108 guestrooms and suites, The Loren offers exclusive amenities, including the property’s signature restaurant, Nido; services from milk + honey spa; a 24-7 access fitness center; a rooftop terrace with an infinity pool and a signature event space with 180-degree views. The rooms at the hotel offer modern furnishings and expansive views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Each bathroom has natural stone, a walk-in shower, plush bathrobes, SFERRA towels and Malin+Goetz products.
The new restaurant concept brings the techniques of coastal Europe to Austin. Diners will step into the glass elevator from the lobby of The Loren and emerge through the trees, landing in Nido’s rooftop oasis. Executive Chef Brad McDonald has designed the menu with an ingredient-first mentality, ensuring each dish is prepared with focus on sustainability, spicing and quality of product. Nido is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Hotel guests and those enjoying the Hike and Bike Trail can also enjoy The Cafe at The Loren, a coffee shop located on the bottom floor of the hotel, for signature beverages and more.
The Loren at Lady Bird Lake joins the brand’s flagship property, The Loren at Pink Beach in Bermuda, which opened in 2017.
