Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has announced an agreement to brand and manage 54 luxurious residences located on Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills. The hotel group’s first residential-only project on the West Coast of the United States, the Mandarin Oriental Residences will debut in 2022.
Located in Beverly Hills, at 9200 Wilshire Boulevard, California, the mid-rise property will house 54 residences, all equipped with outdoor space and offering the comforts of a private home aligned with the service of Mandarin Oriental. The interiors and furnishings have been curated by the design studio 1508 London.
The property, which is in close proximity to Rodeo Drive’s numerous shopping and entertainment choices, has such facilities as a fitness and wellness center with a range of spa and beauty treatments, a beauty salon, library and lounge, a rooftop swimming pool with poolside cabanas and adjacent bar and lounge.
Also making a West Coast debut is Michelin-starred chef Daniel Boulud, who will helm the property’s ground-floor restaurant and rooftop lounge and bar, in addition to offering exclusive in-home dining experiences.
Mandarin Oriental Residences, Beverly Hills is a joint venture between SHVO and Deutsche Finance America. SHVO is also developing the Group’s Mandarin Oriental Residences at 685 Fifth Avenue in New York.
In a press note, Michael Shvo, founder, chairman and CEO of SHVO said, “In partnership with Mandarin Oriental, we are creating one of the most exclusive residential properties in the heart of Beverly Hills, bringing together several of the world’s most coveted brands and partners to create a new standard of luxury living.” He added that owners would be able to avail of the Mandarin Oriental experience in a boutique residential setting both in Beverly Hills and on New York City’s Fifth Avenue.
