The Milestone Residences Open Following Refurbishments

Across the street from Kensington Palace and Gardens, The Milestone Hotel & Residences just finished refurbishing some of its most exclusive offerings. The six luxury residences, now open for guests, provide the privacy of an apartment with the service of a five-star hotel.

The Milestone Residences consists of one three-bedroom and five two-bedroom apartments. They each include a standalone kitchen, living and dining area and walk-in showers. Guests can enter their rooms through The Milestone Hotel or by a private side entrance.

The Kensington Court Residence is a split-level apartment with a private terrace looking out over the rooftops of Kensington. The three-bedroom apartment, the Kensington Palace Residence, offers a downstairs studio with its own private entrance. Other residences include The Victoria and Albert, William and Kate, The Prince of Wales and Kensington Gardens Residence.

Founder and president of Red Carnation Hotels, Beatrice Tollman, with her daughter Toni Tollman, led the design team in choosing the residences’ décor. The team gave each room its own distinct look. Residences feature rare artwork, antiques, chandeliers and more. One residence, for example, hosts a Murano glass chandelier and an antique mirror wall, while another features a variety of antiques and a rare zodiac table.

Residence guests receive 24-hour room service, twice daily housekeeping, full concierge service and access to the hotel’s chauffeur. They can also visit the hotel’s Cheneston Restaurant or its Park Lounge.
