Even the trendiest lifestyle brands are dabbling in the all-inclusive resort sector.
Mondrian Cancun opened for reservations this month, marking the Accor and Ennismore-affiliated brand's first foray into the all-inclusive segment. Set between the Caribbean Sea and Nichupte Lagoon, the 400-room resort sits roughly 15 minutes from Cancun International Airport.
The property unfolds across a high-rise tower with views of the Caribbean, the lagoon, and Cancun's skyline. Rooms and suites draw inspiration from the Riviera Maya, with clean architectural lines, a restrained material palette, and private terraces and balconies. Guests seeking an upgraded experience can book Mondrian+, which features top-floor panoramic views, wraparound terraces, dedicated butler service, a private check-in lounge, a select rooftop restaurant and pool, an enhanced beverage program, and preferred seating at the beach club.
The resort offers 10 dining venues and six bars. Options range from coffee and cocktails at Sun & Moon and Gallery by Mondrian to Mexican cuisine at Cuyo and Cuyo Ceviche, Japanese fare at Niko, a Mondrian Market, and casual bites from the Uno Mas food truck. Allegra is home to what the resort bills as Cancun's longest rooftop infinity pool.
Along the shoreline, Bungalow Beach Club provides guests exclusive access to a private beachfront destination on one of Cancun's white-sand beaches, with poolside lounging, bi-level dining, and curated beachside experiences. The club is accessible via complimentary shuttle.
A collection of event venues, from ocean-view terraces to gathering spaces, accommodates weddings, special occasions, and conferences. As the brand's first branded residential project in Mexico, the development introduces 328 one- to three-bedroom residences set along the Nichupte Lagoon, on one of the last remaining premium sites in Cancun's Hotel Zone.
Mondrian Cancun's next phase, to be announced later this year, will add an expanded spa, an elevated fitness center, and a teens club, along with additional culinary and social concepts, a signature steakhouse, and a Cuban-inspired sunset bar.
First Edition guests staying three nights or more receive 30 percent savings throughout the resort's inaugural season, which runs from August 19 to November 30, 2026.
