Napa’s Milliken Creek Inn Unveils Redesign, New Amenities

Following a months-long upgrade, Napa's Milliken Creek Inn is all set to welcome guests this summer with a fresh new look and enhanced experiences.

What's new? The update includes completely new décor, from custom-made furnishings, modern lighting and curated art to new paint, hardwood flooring and fixtures. Spaces have been reimagined to take advantage of the inn's riverfront setting on three acres at the base of the Silverado Trail.

Milliken Creek Inn's 11 redesigned guestrooms have king-sized beds, and many offer river views, private decks or patios. Most of the rooms have fireplaces and a few have oversized soaking tubs. All rooms come with Nespresso coffee makers and L'Occitane bath products. Guests can also look forward to some cool tech upgrades, like Bluetooth Tivoli speakers and 55-inch Samsung TVs with complimentary Apple TV streaming services, allowing guests to cast from their own devices. There are also iPads in the room to allow guests to browse magazine and newspaper subscriptions, make breakfast selections or order in-room dining.

The lobby has a fireplace and a new beverage bar, while an adjacent deck has a new fire pit overlooking the river and grounds below. Additionally, intimate seating areas with fire pits flank the koi pond.

Winding paths throughout the gardens are punctuated with fountains and mature trees. The inn's expansive, manicured grounds are the ideal setting for afternoon croquet and other lawn games.

Redesigned by Jennifer Wojtkiewicz and Shelley Harden of Indigo Coast Design, Milliken Creek Inn has also enhanced its guest experience. Upon arrival, guests can now bypass the front desk and sip a glass of wine at the lobby or the deck while being checked in. There are also a couple of nice tech inclusions, including mobile keyless entry and the Whistle text messaging platform, which allows guests to communicate instantly and easily with the team members of the inn. Guests may also check out iPads with the inn’s Netflix account for onsite use.

Good to know: A cooked-to-order breakfast is included with every stay. Guests also receive an afternoon mini-picnic, including wine, cheeses and freshly baked cookies. Complimentary cordials and s’mores kits are offered each evening. In addition, a new small plates menu is available for optional ordering throughout the day, with selections such as charcuterie platters, cheese plates and pizzas.

At night, flameless candles, low lighting and soft music welcome guests to their room.

Milliken Creek Inn is part of the Four Sisters Inns collection.
