If you’re keen to sample the scene, there’s a hot new hotel that’s turning heads in town. In fact, Town & Country calls the Hotel Pippa “the buzziest new place to stay on Nantucket.” Launched at the end of May 2018, the property replaces the Vanessa Noel Hotel on Centre Street. It’s the brainchild of local couple Christopher and Asta Skehel, who invested seven figures in the renovation.
Behind the classic Nantucket architecture, you’ll find fun mid-century design and works by Nantucket artists. There are 17 guest rooms spread over six room categories—stocked with Matouk linens, plush bathrobes and Davines Momo bath and skincare products. Top digs: The two-bedroom suite is billed as an “expansive Nantucket residence,” equipped with a living room, two queen bedrooms, and a large bathroom.
