The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco Hires Director of Sales and Marketing

The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco has appointed Samantha Barnett as the new director of sales and marketing. Barnett has more than 15 years of experience in the luxury hospitality sector and lends her expertise and strategic vision to the new role at the property.

Throughout her career, Barnett has worked at various luxury hotels that developed her leadership skills and solidified her high standards for customer service. Most recently, she served as the director of hotel sales at the 381-suite Residence Inn, Chicago Downtown Loop. Prior to that role, Barnett served as the director of sales at St. Jane Hotel, Chicago; multi-property director of group sales at The Ritz-Carlton Hotels of Washington, D.C.; director of sales at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco; director of sales at Renaissance Atlanta Midtown; director of hotel sales at Memphis Marriott Downtown Hotel; and director global sales-TMCs and intermediaries at Marriott global sales, Dubai UAE.

According to Stephen Power, general manager at The Ritz-Carlton, San Francisco, “Samantha is an accomplished luxury hospitality sales director with international and multi brand experience.” He added, “She brings an abundance of expertise in successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies, which will be an asset in achieving our revenue goals as well as our community outreach.”
