Rome Cavalieri, A Waldorf Astoria Resort invites guests for the holidays with a holiday program inspired by “White Christmas.” From festive holiday-themed desserts and gourmet Christmas and New Year’s feasts to a Roman Christmas Market, here is what Rome Cavalieri has in store for the season:
Roman Christmas Market
Starting in November, inside the Rome Cavalieri, guests will be able to experience the hotel’s very own Christmas Market. Guests can enjoy an authentic Roman shopping experience by exploring a selection of gastronomic delicacies and specialties made by local artisans. The Christmas market is the ideal place to purchase something unique for friends and family back home.
Christmas Eve & Day
Guests can enjoy a special Christmas Eve dinner at La Pergola, the first and only three-Michelin-starred restaurant in Rome, where chef Heinz Beck will present a multi-course seafood feast accompanied by live music. Priced at approximately $576 per person, the meal will be accompanied by a selection of wines from the award-winning La Pergola wine cellar.
L’Uliveto Team, led by executive chef Fabio Boschero, will also serve a seafood-focused Christmas Eve dinner, accompanied by live music and priced at approximately $115 per person, offering dishes such as thin tagliatelle with squids, sea-urchins pulp and celery from Verona and paired with wine selected by the Rome Cavalieri Sommelier. Dessert, created by executive pastry chef Dario Nuti, consists of nougat and raspberry log inspired by the “White Christmas” theme.
Also on Christmas Eve, guests can enjoy a selection of oysters and raw bar at Tiepolo Lounge & Terrace, accompanied by Moët and Chandon (approximately $294 per person).
The celebrations continue Christmas Day with an Italian Christmas Brunch at L’Uliveto, showcasing traditional and regional culinary specialties and live music (approximately $199 per adult, $88 per child). Children can also enjoy the arrival of Santa Claus on his sleigh bearing gifts for all.
A Christmas-themed golden chocolate caviar with rum tasting will also be served at Tiepolo Lounge & Terrace (approximately $70 per person), while chef Beck will present another Christmas meal that evening accompanied with live piano music (approximately $576 per person).
New Year’s Eve & Day
Several experiences will be offered for guests to ring in the New Year with Rome Cavalieri, including a special gala dinner at La Pergola. Accompanying a multi-course feast by chef Beck, with dishes such as scallop carpaccio on pumpkin foam with amaretti, toasted seeds and white truffle from Alba, will be wine, music and fireworks (approximately $1,528 per person).
Alternatively, guests can opt to celebrate with a New Year’s Eve dinner at Le Belle Arti and enjoy a meal, signed by chef Boschero and Team, accompanied with wine and Champagne to ring in the New Year (approximately $447 per person).
A Lounge Party will also be held at Tiepolo Lounge & Terrace, offering Veuve Clicquot served with salted delicacies approximately $247 per person) or Dom Perignon served with sea-raw selection, oysters and 10 grams of caviar (approximately $705 per person), as well as live music until dawn.
Finally, New Year’s Eve with a view can be experienced at Terrazza Degli Aranci with Champagne, desserts, music, fireworks and more (approximately $223 per person). Entertainment, games and music are offered to children all night long as well (approximately $106 per person).
To continue the celebration, Rome Cavalieri will serve a special New Year’s Day brunch in the Garden Lobby curated by Chef Boschero and Team (approximately $176 per adult, $76 per child).
Cavalieri Grand Spa Club
Rome Cavalieri is offering an array of spa treatments over the holiday season. The Cavalieri Grand Spa Club presents seasonal experiences including the Ultimate Rejuvenating Night Elixir Platinum Facial combining a Cellular Nigh Elixir with Cellular Cream and Eye Cream Platinum Rare by La Prairie to rejuvenate the skin (approximately $423 per person for 130 min). The Caviar Massage is La Prairie’s most luxurious and signature caviar massage enhanced with the benefits of Skin Caviar to lift and firm the skin.
The Cavalieri Grand Spa Club also invites guests to experience the signature treatments of Aromatherapy Associates, which utilize the properties of essential oils to promote physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Using Aromatherapy Associates’ 30-plus years' of experience, Rome Cavalieri incorporates their range of treatments for both men and women into the spa experience.
