Sanctuary Cap Cana, a Luxury Collection All-Inclusive Resort Debuts in the DR

Sanctuary Cap Cana, a Luxury Collection All-Inclusive Resort has opened its doors in the Dominican Republic. This opening marks the debut of the first all-inclusive, adults-only resort in The Luxury Collection portfolio.

Sanctuary Cap Cana features 324 suites across 19 room categories including oceanfront villas and private island suites with terraces and private pools overlooking the sea. The Castle Island Suite is a 5,500-square-foot two-level suite on a private island with a master bedroom, secondary bedroom, two and a half bathrooms, living room, dining room and three indoor plunge pools with floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing views of the Caribbean Sea.

The resort offers four à-la-carte restaurants featuring international cuisines; a buffet restaurant open for daily breakfast and lunch; a coffee shop; deli; and seven bars. The Capriccio and The Steakhouse are the two signature restaurants onsite. The Sanctuary Town, located right across from the resort’s main lobby, offers a range of culinary options including Burger Factory, Sushi Town, Mamma’s Forno en Pasta, the Spanish tavern El Rincon De Paco and The Sweet House, a train-station themed parlor; live entertainment is also offered on some weekdays.

The property features six pools, besides cabanas and sun loungers on the beach. The Sanctuary Spa offers a range of treatments and therapies, besides beauty shop services and couples’ massage cabins featuring a bathtub that can be arranged with champagne and chocolate delights.

Sanctuary Cap Cana is located just 15 minutes from Punta Cana International Airport. The Punta Espada Golf Club is also nearby.
