Six Senses Crans-Montana Opening in December

Six Senses Crans-Montana is scheduled to open in December, just in time for the 2022-23 winter season. The resort will offer ski-in, ski-out access from its prime position just above the main gondola in Crans.

The 45 Terrace Rooms and one- and three-bedroom Suites have a Swiss chalet feel and are surrounded on three sides by nature and pine forest. Their bay windows and private terraces provide views that stretch across the Valais valley, from the Swiss Matterhorn on the left across the 4-Vallées range to the French Mont Blanc massif on the right.

Fresh and wholesome food is central to the two restaurants and in-room dining options. Byakko, the signature restaurant, offers Hoba Miso, hot stones, sushi and fish, grilled meats and hotpots with Japanese influences. The bar serves exotic sake blends and cocktails. The all-day dining brasserie, Wild Cabin, with its large open terrace, serves classic Swiss fare with a twist.

The 21,500-square-foot Six Senses Spa houses nine treatment rooms, a Stretch Pod, fitness facilities and a yoga studio. Wet facilities include a large indoor pool, a rooftop swimming pool, steam, hammam, hot tub and cold plunge pool. The Biohack Recovery Lounge offers fast fixes that use smart technology to optimize the body’s natural healing processes.

As one of the last construction projects in Switzerland for sale with no restrictions for international owners, 13 of the 17 residences can be bought as a second home. Residences range in size from 2,260 to 3,550 square feet, and include three- to five-bedroom apartments with two to three bathrooms and private parking spaces. Besides a host of home maintenance and hospitality services, including housekeeping, security, concierge, business center, nanny and groceries, residents can access all the amenities of the Six Senses resort.

Crans-Montana is one of the few resorts where there’s no need for a car: Guests and visitors can land in Sion only 16 miles away or catch the two-hour train from Geneva Airport to Sierre and hop on the funicular.
