The St. Regis Mexico City has unveiled its Garden Terrace Rooms and Suites. The eight new suites are being touted as the first of their kind in Mexico City.
Designed by PGM Arquitectura, the new Garden Terrace Rooms and Suites vary in size from one to two bedrooms—and seven of which offer an outdoor terrace that overlooks Paseo de la Reforma. These suites also house artwork by Spanish-Mexican painter Vicente Rojo, Joy Laville and others. The outdoor terraces draw inspiration from native botanicals with decor curated by Casa Martina of San Miguel de Allende. Sculptural pieces from Lanai can be found in both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Additional artwork and decor can be found from Dupuis, Isabel Marina and Alfonso Marina.
Pretty cool: The Caroline Astor Garden Terrace Suite is being touted as the first suite with a private outdoor infinity pool in Mexico City. This two-bedroom Presidential Suite has one king bed and two twin beds and can additionally connect to an adjacent two-bedroom suite. The total area spans 3,875 square feet and the large outdoor terrace is filled with greenery, plus a large infinity pool and private pergola with a seating area.
Beyond the Caroline Astor Garden Terrace Suite, the Metropolitan Garden Terrace Suite (a Garden Terrace Executive Suite) spans 1,033 square feet. Its terrace offers seating and a jacuzzi. The Grand Deluxe Garden Terrace Suites also total 1,033 square feet. These, however, have a wooden pergola, outdoor jacuzzi and a fireplace on the terrace.
