Switzerland’s Grand Resort Bad Ragaz Begins $14.8M Refurbishment

Grand Hotel Hof Ragaz at Grand Resort Bad Ragaz in Switzerland has announced a renovation project that will last until the end of May this year. All 109 rooms of the traditional five-star hotel at the resort will be refreshed at an estimated cost of $14.8 million.

During the planned renovation, which began in mid-January and will last until the end of May, all other areas of Grand Resort Bad Ragaz will continue to remain open, including Grand Resort Quellenhof & Spa Suites, the thermal spa and the public thermal bath, the Tamina Therme, the golf course, the casino, the medical center and Bad Ragaz clinic.

The previous renovation of Grand Hotel Hof took place in 2009, while more recently, the Grand Resort Quellenhof & Spa Suites underwent an extensive renovation in 2019, at a cost of nearly $43 million. This latest refurbishment focuses on blending traditional design with contemporary flair. The renovation of Grand Hotel Hof is another exciting milestone for Grand Resort Bad Ragaz as the establishment looks ahead to the New Year and beyond, further cementing its position in the health and wellness market.

Grand Resort Bad Ragaz is a luxury resort located in the foothills of the Swiss Alps and offers a range of facilities including two five-star hotels, a 36-hole golf course, a spa and wellness center and several dining options with a combined total of six Michelin stars. Activities include hiking, tennis and skiing in the nearby ski resorts.
