Borgo dei Conti Resort is a 40-room & suite luxury property located in Umbria, Italy. Opened summer 2024, with additional developments in 2025, the estate is surrounded by 40 acres of olive groves and forestland. For the 2025 season, the resort will debut 19 new rooms and suites, a spa partnership with Nescens, new guest programming and an early bookings package for guests.
Debuting in 2025, the La Colonica building, a 20th-century edifice, introduces 19 rooms and suites, including fully accessible Suite and Junior Suite options, as well as the Grand Colonica Suite.
Wellness offerings on property include an outdoor infinity pool, which offers views of the Umbrian hills. Additionally, the resort’s spa offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, as well as massages, facials and specialty treatments. The wet area of the spa includes a hydromassage tub and an internal bio-sauna with garden views, alongside traditional Finnish and Turkish saunas. Guests can also explore the Sensory Deprivation area and the Salt Room. Ascending to the upper floor, visitors can unwind on the deck enveloped by an olive grove, complete with chaise lounges outside, or the indoor heated pool.
The estate also has a newly built padel court, a fitness center, tennis court, walking trails, a vegetable and herb garden and manicured Italian gardens. In the evening, guests can settle into plush armchairs and chaise lounges at the outdoor cinema in Borgo Park, where films will be projected beneath a star-studded sky. Guests can also enjoy a countryside picnic or explore the estate’s Hamlet Apiary, where fresh honey is harvested onsite and is available to sample and purchase. Additional on-property experiences include wine tastings, truffle hunts and hands-on cooking classes.
Tip: For an intimate experience, guests can reserve the Casa della Contessa, a cottage perfect for a candlelit gourmet dinner paired with wines. The resort's food and beverage program additionally consists of Cedri, the fine dining indoor-outdoor restaurant; the classic trattoria L’Osteria del Borgo; a lounge bar; and an outdoor poolside bar.
Borgo dei Conti Resort’s early bookings package is live for reservations until May 31, 2025. The three-night package includes accommodation for two, breakfast, a picnic in Borgo Park’s olive groves and an “Umbrian Stroll” spa treatment to relieve tension in the legs, combining deep exfoliation with a decongestant wrap and draining massage with olive oil, stimulating blood and lymphatic circulation.
