Virginia Rojas Joins The Ritz-Carlton, Boston as Director of Sales and Marketing

The Ritz-Carlton, Boston has announced the appointment of Virginia Rojas as its new director of sales and marketing. The announcement was made by William Bunce, general manager of the 193-guestroom hotel overlooking the historic Boston Common. He said, “We’re delighted to welcome Virginia as the lead of our Ritz-Carlton, Boston sales and marketing team. She brings a wealth of international, luxury experience to the hotel and the Boston market overall, and she’ll certainly offer a fresh, new perspective for our hotel to successfully achieve its sales and marketing objectives.”

With more than 12 years of experience in the luxury hospitality sector, Rojas joins The Ritz-Carlton, Boston from the new Ritz-Carlton, Mexico City where she was part of the pre-opening guidance team, leading a three-year, ramp-up opening plan as director of sales and marketing. Prior to that, she spent six years at the W Bogota as director of sales, business travel sales manager and account manager, where she was also part of the hotel’s pre-opening team. In 2018, while at W Bogota, she was named global leader of the year for Marriott International’s Luxury Hotels. 

Rojas, in a press statement said, “In my new role, I look forward to successfully leading a dynamic sales and marketing team to help distinguish our luxurious story from our comp set while delivering genuine and exceptional service and new brand offerings to our guests and clients.”

Rojas received a Master in Business Administration from Complutense University in Madrid. She has lived in seven countries and is fluent in English, Spanish, Italian and German.
