W Hotels Worldwide announced the opening of W Dubai – The Palm today. Located on the Palm Jumeirah, one of the world’s largest man-made islands and an iconic Dubai attraction, the new 350-room property offers six food and beverage locations, the W brand’s signature AWAY Spa and more.
What can guests expect, cuisine-wise? Famous for his renowned Osteria Francescana, Chef Massimo Bottura introduced his first restaurant outside of Italy at W Dubai – The Palm. At Torno Sobito, diners eat inside converted rescue boats and pedalos (paddle boats), choosing from a playful menu of Bottura’s favorite recipes. Named after its lead snowboarder-turned-chef, Akira Back serves up Korean-inspired Japanese cuisine. W Dubai – The Palm’s rooftop bar SoBe pairs 360-degree views of the Dubai skyline with eclectic live DJ performances, cocktails and tattoo artists. At LIV, guests can order breakfast, lunch or dinner in a dining venue made entirely out of upcycled materials.
The hotel’s AWAY Spa offers ten treatment rooms, a steam room, sauna, experiential showers, a hammam and a couples’ suite. The space also features a Beauty Bar for touch-ups and ‘Quick Fix’ treatments.
Multiple pools arranged in a wave-like pattern form the W brand’s iconic WET Deck. Here, guests can swim, soak up the sun and drink signature beverages, all while listening to live DJ performances. Overlooking the WET Deck, beach and city skyline, the hotel gym features state-of-the-art equipment in a space decorated with jellyfish-inspired abstract art.
