Ron Cusiter Named VP Global Sales and The Americas Kempinski Hotels

Kempinski Hotels S.A. has appointed Ron Cusiter as vice president global sales and the Americas. In this role, Cusiter will be responsible to lead and manage the global sales offices of the luxury brand in Europe, America, Asia and India. In addition, he will oversee sales and marketing for the company’s properties in the Americas and contribute to the strategy for existing and new hotel openings in that region.

A Scottish native, Cusiter brings with him a wealth of global experience in luxury and ultra-luxury hospitality. He embarked on his senior career with Rosewood Hotels and Resorts where he ultimately held the position of vice president sales and marketing operations, before he became vice president sales operations, Europe, Africa and the Middle East at Hyatt Hotels and, more recently, global vice president sales and marketing for COMO Hotels. Just before starting his newest role, Cusiter worked on various Kempinski projects around the globe, the latest being in Venice, Dubai and Dominica.

Created in 1897, Kempinski Hotels is Europe’s oldest luxury hotel group. Kempinski now comprises a portfolio of 79 hotels and residences in 34 countries and it continues to add new properties in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas. The portfolio includes historic landmark properties, urban lifestyle hotels, resorts and residences. Kempinski is a founding member of the Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), the world’s largest alliance of independent hotel brands.
