Luxury hotel group Rosewood has announced that Margaret Yeung has been appointed vice president of brand management and communications. She brings more than two decades of branding, marketing and strategy experience in the luxury, media, and digital fields linking both client and agency advisory roles.
Most recently, Yeung served as partner and director of Kalli Strategic Consulting. For seven years, she provided strategic advisory, branding and marketing services for a range of sectors across Europe, Asia, and North America. She worked with luxury product brands, private banking, classical musical and fine art, C-suite private groups, and more.
Yeung has also held senior positions at Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH), World Presidents Organisation (WPO), and Bulgari, heading branding and communications, business-to-business and business-to-consumer loyalty program development, digital strategy, and strategic marketing plans.
In her new position, she will be charged with leading Rosewood’s branding and communications in order to strengthen brand awareness and market positioning, as well as to continue development of the individual brands.
Rosewood Hotel Group is comprised of three brands: luxury Rosewood Hotels & Resorts in North America, Caribbean/Atlantic, Europe, the Middle East and Asia; contemporary deluxe New World Hotels & Resorts in China and Southeast Asia; and neighborhood lifestyle pentahotels in Europe and Asia. There are currently 57 hotels in 18 countries and is planning to expand to 120 hotels by 2020.
Their most recent addition is Hôtel de Crillon in Paris. After a four year renovation and Rosewood taking over management, the hotel opened in July.
